How Hyundai Panama Increased their Car Sales through Qualified Leads by 113 % (Clone)

The Challenge 👨‍🔧

During the pandemic, multiple businesses faced challenges when it came to sales due to restrictions and lockdowns – and the automotive industry was no exception.

Hyundai Panama was searching for a solution that would help them increase their incoming leads digitally and support their customers, while many of their showrooms and stores were closed or restricted.

As a solution, the Hyundai Motor Company introduced giosg to the Petroautos sales team.

The Solution 🔑

The project with giosg’s chatbot and One-to-One solution started to take place in practice during 2021.

This solution provides professional help on Hyundai’s website where a sales agent can host a meeting with a lead or a customer, providing information during a live conversation through video or a phone call (a so called one-to-one video call)  – directly from the app.

It started with a test, which consisted of training and access to eight sales agents.

When progress was made and the sales agents were seeing the positive results, access was further given to 42 sales agents, all in the capital of Panama during the following year.

Furthermore, one internal ‘champion’ was chosen to train the other sales agents together with a Customer Success Manager from giosg, to ensure the success of the project.

After this, Hyundai decided to integrate the tool into giosg’s CRM to improve monitoring. In this stage, access was given to the entire country with a total of more than 60 sellers using the tool on their computers, mobiles and CRM.

🔥 145% increase in actual Car Sales exclusively through qualified leads between 2021 and 2023

🔥 113% Car Sales through qualified leads from 2022-2023

🔥 From 2019 to 2023, digital sales surged to constitute 41% of total retail sales, marking a significant 10% increase in digital sales

🔥 The number of qualified leads generated through giosg's chatbot and One-to-One interactions increased by 410% in 2023 compared to 2021 (first 6 months).
